During his stint of 19 years with Titan Industries, he held various positions in Sales, Marketing, International operations, Manufacturing etc. When he left in April 2006, he was the COO of the Watch & Clock division of Titan. He joined Reliance Industries in their newly created Retail division and heads the Lifestyle vertical in this retail initiative. Reliance has embarked on a transformational initiative in the Indian retail industry and has already created a significant impact in the market. Bijou is also on the advisory board of the World Retail Congress, President of the Bangalore chapter of the XLRI Alumni association, member of the FICCI Retail committee and Managing committee of the Bangalore Management Association and CII (Karnataka).
